We experienced some pretty crazy weather conditions during our recent camping trip on Kick. You see, the forecast called for some sunshine, but Mother Nature had other plans. Apparently, she decided to throw a massive rainstorm right in the middle of our adventure!
Our shelter quickly transformed into a swamp. {Everywhere was soaked through and through. We tried to to stay dry, but it was a losing battle. The rain just kept coming down.
It wasn't all bad though. There was something different about the whole experience. The campers huddled together in our makeshift shelter, sharing laughs and making an effort stay warm.

Well folks, it's been a wild few months here on the farm! The crops are blooming like crazy, and I'm super excited about all the {freshfoods we're going to have.
I've also been workin'/toiling/hustling hard on {somenew projects that I can't wait to reveal you all about soon! In the meantime, here are a few of {quickhighlights:
* Managed to finishing up the workshop.
* The chickens/goats/cows are laying/producing/giving tons/loads/plenty of eggs/milk/cheese.
* I've been learning some new recipes using all the fresh ingredients from the farm.

Wild Ride: Camping in the Storm with Jess
Rain deluged down, turning our campsite into a muddy mess. But that didn't stop Jess! She was ecstatic to be out here in the wild, braving the elements with a smile on her face. We pitched our tent, which howled like a wounded animal every time a gust of wind hit it. We huddled inside, sharing snacks, the warmth of each other's company driving the chill. Later, we watched the rain cascading on the leaves, listening to the sounds of nature. This wasn't just a camping trip, it was an adventure. A true "Girl Gone Wild" moment!
